Dear friends,

We would like to invite you cordially to participate at the third “Retrovirus Assembly Meeting – RAM2008”, which will be held in Prague from the evening of Saturday the 4 th of October to the afternoon of Wednesday the 8 th of October 2008.

The first two meetings in 2000 and 2004 represented a great opportunity for investigators to exchange information and ideas, as well as experience the cultural delights of one of the most beautiful European cities.

As before, the program will again consist of 8 sessions, where a limited number of invited talks will be followed by an extensive discussion period, with opportunities for limited presentations by meeting participants. In addition, poster presentations are encouraged.

The registration fee of 750 € includes accommodation, food and local transportation.

In order to plan the logistics of the meeting, which as before will be limited to 70 participants, it would be helpful if you could promptly reply to this invitation indicating whether you plan to attend and how many colleagues from your laboratory will join you. The organization of the meeting requires almost precise planning, as most of the accommodation capacity in Prague will be already booked (and in most cases even pre-paid) for the period of the meeting. We would like all aspects of the meeting to run smoothly so that you may relax and enjoy both the scientific program and the city of Prague. Therefore, please return the registration form as soon as possible. If you encounter any problems during registration, contact us on this e-mail.

We are also planning a post-conference satellite meeting on “Assembly as a Therapeutic Target” outside of Prague in northern Bohemia at the Chateau Liblice, http://www.chateau-liblice.com/ , (departure on the afternoon of the 8 th and returning to Prague on the evening of the 9 th). The satellite meeting will require an additional fee (250 €) for all participants, invited and paying, to cover both the trip and two additional nights accommodation in Prague (to hold your room and for the night after the satellite conference). Please indicate your interest in participating in the satellite meeting and to pay the additional fee in your registration.

We would additionally appreciate your help by providing complete information in the registration and also your willingness to share a room (if possible). In this case, please indicate a potential roommate.
